24th June 2014 – Sensory Garden Project
The KS3 Apollo Enterprise group are hard at work again and now have their sights set on developing one of our outdoors spaces into a sensory garden for the whole school to enjoy and continue their learning outside of the classroom. The garden is to be a reuse, renew, recycle theme, turning unloved, unwanted or used objects into something that can be given a new life and enjoyed for many years to come. Apollo have worked hard to plan a vision for the garden under the guidance of Miss. Wightman. The hardworking bunch set about clearing the area of rubbish, taking down some of the overgrown bushes and branches. The teamwork and dedication that the pupils always put into these projects are a real credit to them as group and it’s fantastic to watch the variety of skills needed for a project like this flourish and develop. Please contact Miss. Wightman or Mr. Hill if you have any unwanted items that you think we might be able to use in our garden.
