Saturn and Jupiter enjoy a day at Hunstanton Sea Life Centre

On Monday 22nd May Saturn and some members of Jupiter class had the opportunity to visit Hunstanton for the day and we all had a fantastic trip.

We started at the Sea Life Centre which was great because Saturn class have been learning about the topic ‘Under the Sea’.

Our guide, Ali, gave the students a chance to touch and stroke a starfish, and some children were very brave and held a crab! We saw lots of different sea creatures, including sharks, stingrays, seals and penguins! There was an adventure playground with a pirate ship that the children enjoyed, before spending time (and money!) in the gift shop!

After lunch we headed to the beach. We were very lucky that the weather was so nice, so children had a chance to paddle, dig the sand and collect pebbles. We even had time for some ice cream, donuts and slushies, and enjoyed them in the sun.

Before returning home, the children had some time in the amusement arcade where they had great fun on the 2p machines; some even won prizes!

It was a fantastic day. Thank you very much to all the students and staff involved for making it so memorable.
